Ford Cortina 1500 Deluxe Mk.1 | Partexchanged against a new Cortina Mk.3 estate DDF937L in August 1972. | A new addition to our family in early 68 meant that Dads trusty 100E Anglia 808PHX, which hed owned from new in 1957, was suddenly feeling too small... So he replaced it with this Cortina.

I later remember Dad telling me that in fact Willments had two cars which took his fancy at the time: this Cortina and a Ford Corsair 1500GT. In the end Dad went for the Cortina, fearing that the Corsair might actually prove too powerful as a family saloon..
I still have happy memories of riding in the back seat of this Cortina
